Well, it is now the year 2026 and I am excited! I’m also nervous but I think that’s the whole point. With a whole new year to explore, it also means a whole new thing you never did, or stepping away from things that may not be healthy both physically and mentally. The point of a new year is to try to take a step out of your comfort zone and try to do and be the best person you can be.
A 2025 Recap
2024 was about separation. I stepped away from everything, friends, a little of bit of family and social media for a bit. I don’t know if it was a mid life crisis but I knew I needed to clear my head, cause I was going down a rabbit hole of toxicity towards others and myself and I needed out before I lost all of myself. Fast forward to last year, I learned about myself more. I learned I had a voice of my own, and that its ok to say no because I was a major people pleaser. I even took up therapy and discovered a little super power of my own that some would think will be their downfall. My therapist noticed I have High-functioning Autism tendencies based on how I present myself. I looked it up and I check off most of the symptoms which explained a lot about growing up as I knew I felt different and didn’t know why. Last year was an eye opener in my spiritual path which led me to healing and growth.
2026 Plans & Goals
Let’s face it, we all have plans and goals every new year. My resolution is to always try something new and which each new year I have. This year I plan to have my Light Novel, Knights of Auran Published and to hold a physical copy in my hand. I plan to work on the plotting for the second book and hopefully start working on that. I also have other surprises that I hope to reveal this year for this little project. I’m confident of it, and I’m confident that it will reach the right audience who will love fantasy, sci-fi, with some action packed moments. Here’s to 2026 guys! Let’s GOOOOOOOO!!
Before I go I’m also celebrating another milestone as my Youtube channel “That Blerd Girl” reached 2k subscribers and counting.
Again I couldn’t have done it without the growing community and viewers both near and far. If this is growing, I know my book series is going to be something amazing. That’s why I encourage people to follow their dreams even if it sounds crazy to some people. You just need to find the right people.
Until next time…
